Galateya Gerova won the gold medal in the All-around at the „Asker Cup“ tournament in Norway. This is Teya’s debut at the international stage as a part of the senior national team. She presented very interesting routines and got 14.100 for her hoop, 13.950 for her ball, 15.200 for her really impressive clubs and 11.600 for the ribbon, where she sadly had a mistake. Earlier today Elizabet Yovcheva and Anna Kelman were first and second in the junior all-around and in the team competition, Bulgaria 1 (Gerova, Volozhanina, Kelman) are champions and Bulgaria 2 (Yovcheva, Marina Ivanova, Lyubchova) are the silver medalists. Our second representative among the women, Marina Ivanova had a very unlucky day today and finished 5th. Despite her beautiful compositions, she made lots of mistakes (10.250 ball, 12.250 clubs, 10.900 ribbon) and only her hoop routine was perfectly performed, for which she deservingly got 15.150 and will be our finalist on this apparatus tomorrow. At the other finals we’ll see Teya again fighting for the medals. In the top3 are also Laura Halford (Wales/GBR – 54.850), and Anastasiia Revun (Ukraine – 54.000).
